The Android SDK includes the complete set of icons, however, they are in .PNG format which is not scalable and its hard to customize.

This android icons include most of the native icons form the Android sdk as well as some added bonuses. It’s intended for Android developers, mainly artist.

Note that most of the original icons were created by Google, the creator simply turned them into a more convenient and scalable format format (AI, EPS, SVG). This package is released as public domain and you are free to use and share it’s content in any way you like.

JustVector is free 100 monochrome social icons which is designed with simplicity in mind. Provided in vector format, they are fully editable and scale smoothly. They are completely free, even for commercial use, redistribution or remixing (see License).

The original artwork in vector format is provided in .AI and .EPS format (editable in Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDRAW and Inkscape). Each icon is presented on its own artboard (for more convenient export) – the artboards and paths are all named. The icons are (by default) 90px x 90px on 100px x 100px artboards (5px margins).

Also provided are individual files for each icon, in .PNG and .SVG format. The .PNG icons are 32px x 32px PNG-32s, black on a transparent background. The .SVG icons are 100px x 100px, with a black fill color.

The icons are distributed under the Free Art License, and as such can be copied, distributed, transformed and used as you please.

Pure CSS GUI icons is An experimental that uses pseudo-elements to create 84 simple GUI icons using CSS and semantic HTML. Shared as an exercise in creative problem solving and working within constraints. This is not a “production ready” CSS icon set.

The technique behind this experiment is an expansion of the basic shape-creation that was used to make Pure CSS speech bubbles. Some of these GUI icons can only be created in browsers that support CSS3 transforms.

The demo page contains a full set of user interaction and media player control icons, as well as other common icons. For now, several icons actually require more than one element as CSS 2.1 only specifies 2 pseudo-elements per element that can contain generated content. The CSS3 Generated and Replaced Content Module allows for an unlimited number of pseudo-elements but has yet to be fully implemented in any modern browser.
