Breaking Bad Art: A Collection of Eyes
To date, AMC’s Breaking bad is arguably one of the best television drama series of all time. It centers around the life of Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), a middle-aged high school chemistry teacher whose pedestrian existence shatters after he discovers that he’s dying of lung cancer, which propels him to enter the drug industry with his unlikely junior partner Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul).
Because of its powerful emotional and moral resonance in its audience, the show quickly reached critical acclaim, and has inspired several artistic interpretations from its talented fans.
I noticed that one of Walter White’s strongest suits is his eyes and how he can instantly transform them from benign to malignant. It spurred me to compile this collection of fan art that for me, captures their essence. Seriously, whenever he flashes that cold, intense, your-soul-is-toast glare I am simply thankful that I’m on the other side of the screen.
