Nivo Zoom is a clean and simple image zooming jQuery plugin from the developers of the popular Nivo Slider. This plugin support for 5 different zoom types and allow us to add HTML caption. The plugin is lightweight (4kb compressed).

To use Nivo Zoom you have to include jQuery, the Nivo Zoom script and the Nivo Zoom CSS on your page. Next you need to add some HTML. The way Nivo Zoom works is you to wrap a thumbnail image in a link pointing to the image that you want to “zoom” in to and give this link the class “nivoZoom”. Nivo Zoom has been tested under Internet Explorer v7+, Firefox v3+, Google Chrome v4 and Safari v4.
