Smartupdater - Periodical Updating jQuery Plugin

Smartupdater is plugin for jQuery that allow us to performs periodical updating functionality and can be used in all sorts of applications which need “polling” mechanisms.

Smartupdater can be started, stopped or restarted on any event and you can set the interval of the polling periods as well (you can also set this timeout value remotely). It has smart behaviour, it will updates only if new data is different from the old one (text or json only). Multiplies polling interval each time data is not changed (text or json only). The handle ajax failures, allow us to stop request data after “maxFailedRequests.
