Contained Sticky Scroll is plugin for jQuery that allows you to create an element that will “stick” to the top of the window as the user scrolls, but which will not move outside of its parent element.

However, some users don’t like this kind of sticky scrolling, so the plugin also includes a feature that allows a user to turn off the sticky scrolling, causing the sidebar to flip back to its default position. Just click the circumflex(^) to trigger this.

The plugin comes equipped with a number of different options such as easing, duration, queue, unstick, closeChar, closeTop and closeRight. It has been tested the plugin in recent versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari and even Internet Explorer 8.
