Facebook Testing Threaded Commenting System
Reports have spread last week that Facebook has been running some tests on some Facebook Pages recently with regards to the commenting system of status updates. Facebook’s Meredith Chin has confirmed that Facebook is indeed exploring a new feature that would allow users to post a reply on a specific comment under a post made on someone’s Timeline, according to Mashable.
Below is an image capture of a tweet posted by Pavel Konoplenko showing what the threaded comment will look like once it gets implemented to the public in Facebook.

This I think is indeed a good idea because it eliminates the need to mention or tag a person’s name just to avoid confusion on who the comment was intended for. Aside from the threaded comments, another thing that Facebook has been reportedly considering and testing is the audible notifications, according to Softpedia. See sample video below:
