Created by the guys at Photoshop Star, this tutorial shows you how you can make a cool unusual 3D-like text effect using some of the tools in Photoshop. It’s so simple that rookies can easily make it work.

For this text, Familian font was used. The tools you’re going to need are Gradient Tool, Radial Gradient, Layer, Rasterize, Gradient Overlay, Edit, Transform (Skew), Rectangular Marquee Tool, Select, Deselect, Filter, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Merge Layer, Transform (Rotate), Transform (Scale), Lock transparent pixels on Layers panel, Polygonal Lasso Tool, Dodge Tool setting the Range to Midtones and the Exposure to 30%, Burn Tool.
