Here’s a beautiful text tutorial from Rose of PSD Tuts+ that we will be featuring on today’s design tutorial.
The sparkling diamond-and-gold text gives you a fabulous, elegant and glamorous look for your design project. To create this, you will need Adobe Photoshop, the version Rose used here was CS6 and Filter Forge 3.0. Level of difficulty is for intermediate and estimated time to complete the project is 2-3 hours.

To get started you will need the following:

Corporea font

Crystal texture by Anna Klishina

Gradient shapes for Photoshop by ilnanny

Sparklies Photoshop Brushes by redheadstock

After having those tools, you need to download Filter Forge from the plugin’s website and install it (no worries, it is very easy to install). This will be added inside Photoshop under Filter menu.

To add some filter effects, launch the plugin by going to Filter > Filter Forge > Filter Forge 3. You’ll see a “Filter Library: Download more filters” link to the upper right side of the plugin’s window. Click it to start downloading the filters.

When the link brings you to the site’s Filter page, search any filters you want. By doing this, just type in the keywords you want to find the filters, then click the search button. It has thousands of available cool filters so this is a very helpful tool to use, definitely a must-have in your arsenal.
