jQuery News Scroller Tutorial
Showcase the latest news, top stories, and important links in your web site or blog with the jQuery news scroller. This tool is very useful if your web site has a lot of features and you want them displayed in a small compact box. With its news-type scrolling effect, your visitors can easily get a quick scope of your blog’s content and may keep them on your site for longer.
Check out the demo HERE. Cool, isn’t it?
The tutorial, which is created by web developer Nathan Rohler, demonstrates how to create this news scroller with jQuery easily. It features cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement and the automatic pause-and-resume control for the user. With the help of jQuery, it scrolls automatically and when you hover over the scroller, it will pause so you can click the link and read the content.
The jQuery news scroller is a simple yet very effective tool for enhancing your site’s functionality. You can also modify this by adding images and contents or use PHP.
For the full tutorial, go HERE. If you’ve tried it, do share how this scroller has enhanced your blog. Good luck!
