Adobe Releases New Edge Cloud-Based Tools

Here’s good news to all design fanatics out there courtesy of a post by David Conrad. Adobe has released Edge Tools and Services, which consists of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript-based developer tools for creating animated Flash-style web content.

If you’re familiar with some of the tools, they were actually made available last 2011 as Adobe Edge Preview, which was later on renamed as Edge Animate 1.0. Because of its increased popularity, with many Version 1.0 users around the world will continue to enjoy a free introductory offer according to the Adobe Edge blog.

Tools and services for Edge are available from Adobe Creative Cloud. You can get free membership with the Starter Plan, which only gives limited access to some of its great services and features. It also includes 2GB of cloud storage. The Edge Code, a rebranded version of Brackets – the open code editor for JavaScript, CSS and HTML of Adobe, is also available for free.
