Google Launches New Compose And Reply Interface In Gmail

Google has just made emailing a little faster and easier for Gmail users as it introduced a new design to its Compose and Reply user interface on Tuesday.

Users now have the ability to browse through the contents of their Inbox and other mail folders as they compose a new email without having to close the draft, all thanks to the new popup window design. Honestly, it reminds me Facebook’s chat window as it conveniently rests on the lower right corner of your screen, which you can close, minimize and even detach from the main window. That’s not all — the best part is that you can now actually have multiple emails open at the same time!

Replying to an email is also redesigned to fit inline conversations even better and also takes up lesser space. Not enough? Well, what if we told you that this is actually just a preview of what Google has up their sleeve? Fact is, they said that there are still other “finishing touches” that they intend to release in the coming months for a wider launch.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what other features they have in store. Guess we all just have to wait and see.
