Deactivate WordPress Plugin Without Logging Into WP Admin

Some of you might have been in a situation wherein you’d want to log in to the WP Admin page but couldn’t because of a plugin you just happened to install or update. Well, Peter (I didn’t get to catch his last name) just created and shared a very easy-to-follow video tutorial wherein he shows two ways on how you can get around the problem.

You may find his methods quite handy if you ever encounter any one of these following scenarios:

  • You get a blank screen when you log into your WP Admin after installing a plugin.
  • You get an error after editing some PHP code from the plugin or theme editor, which then prevents you from accessing the WP Admin.
  • You installed a WordPress security plugin that locked you out of WP Admin.
