Streeme is private, open source personal music server that allows you to listen to your entire MP3 based home music catalog anywhere with an Internet connection. Using HTML5, the app runs in most modern desktop browser and on many smartphone handsets.

Streeme requires the initial installation of a web server package (Apache, PHP & MySQL) before the script can operate. Streeme require FFMPEG library for transcoding media. Streeme can get the music collection from any folders or it can use the iTunes XML file. After that, you can navigate music by genre, albums, artists or songs and see the latest additions.
