jCapSlide is a new plugin that enables you to create a nice sliding caption for your site’s images. Hover your mouse cursor over the image and the caption will slide up/out from the bottom of the image while also applying a semi-transparent tinted overlay.

Configurable properties include the following:

• caption_color – to change the caption’s text color

• border – to adjust the thickness of the caption’s border

• caption_bgcolor – to set the background color of the caption

• overlay_bgcolor – to set the color of the image’s overlay tint

• showcaption – to set the initial status of the caption title to either show/hide
