Good news to all Twitter users! Like with Facebook and Google+, now you can put a header image on your profile and it will be displayed both on desktop and with mobile apps.

TwitrCovers.com provides you with the coolest images for your header and currently they have over 300 to choose from. Best of all, they’re all free!

IT expert Dieter Petereit shows you to add one on your profile.

• First go to TwitrCovers.com and download an image you want and save it on your storage.

• Open your Twitter account.

• Click on the wheel icon found at the upper right side of your screen > Edit Profile.

• Click on Design found on its left side menu.

• Design options will open to the right of the menu. Watch out for Customize Your Own.

• Click on Change Header > Choose Existing Image > Click Open as you navigate to your downloaded image.

• A modal window will open. This will allow you to fine tune the image in your own preference.

• Click Save but according to Petereit it’s not yet really saved, so you have to hit Save Changes on the Design tab of your profile’s edit page.

That’s how simple it is.
